| Based on my own experience, as well as that of my agronomy clients, plus reports from Exapta customers, we know that:
A) the boot must be up against the blade or it will tend to plug with residue jamming in between the boot and blade. Don (Pokey): Don't go to the field like that or you will be very unhappy.
B) very tight tolerances between the bolt and the bushing not only create problems with the boot's self-alignment against the blade, but also are a nightmare to get back apart after a few years of dirt and corrosion accumulate. In my opinion, Phil Needham has made a mistake in trying to take *all* of the looseness out of the attachment area.
