Subject: RE: Quick book or Microsoft Money 2000

West Union, Illinois

I can't speak to the specific versions.  Way back when I first started using a checkbook program we started with Money. I made an error in setting it up and never could get it corrected.  A friend was using Quicken and kept raving about it until we tried it.  I installed Quicken, imported my data from Money, corrected my error, and hit the ground running.

Keep in mind, however, Intuit dances to its own drummer.  Rather than handle printing like moat everyone else in the civilized world, Intuit does it their way.  So when you upgrade from one version of Windows to the next you want to expect having to buy a newer version of Quicken so your reports will print out.

If you are happy with (Quicken or Money) stay with it.   If you are not happy I wouldn't guarantee switching will make you any happier
