Subject: Re: Feeding corn screenings ???

Have a freind who feeds several hundred head. He told me that he switched all his grain to screenings and has been very happy. I have seen the screenings that he gets, they are very good quality, no bees wings, looks liked cracked corn. He is paying $50 ton delivered. Central MN.

Here, my kids have a few head of sheep and cows for 4-H and FFA, they have been feeding screenings and brome hay since the first of October. The livestock all look to be doing quite well and the cows just love them. They are eating a lot less hay than in past years when we were feeding whole corn.
