| Try and find out if the tranny has been updated. If it hasn't just figure on spending a good chunk of money on it. The original clutch packs had small splined shafts that ran through them, which means if you have to update it, it will require a fair amount of new shafts and related parts. We have a 5088 and I like the tractor except for a few quirks. One of which is the 3pt lift handles location, and the fact that it is impossible to set the depth stop in the cab so that it stops at the same point every time you push the lever down. | |
