Maryland | We just bought a 04 Frieghtliner columbia with a mercedes dielsel that use to be a NFI ( National Frieght Industry) fleet truck. I has a mid flat top sleeper but has a wind diverter on top to direct the wind over a tall van trailer That is removeable though. I think that would be much smarter to do. With the wind diverter on top we can not pull up the the trailer with the auger out on the grain cart and have to wait to we get right beside the trailer with the combine. The truck was cheap though , under $16,000 with under 550,000 miles. All we did is put a wetline on it for roughly $3,300. I think you better look for a flat top with a removeable wind diverter that buisness with removing a condo sleeper sounds like a nightmare. | |
