Subject: RE: Any llama folks around here?

Ontario, Canada
We have a Llama at home and they are a funny creature, they definitely have a thought process to them and are VERY territorial, if Llouie is any indication. He is very protective of the sheep that he can see, not just the ones in the pasture with him. He is always there to greet anyone coming into the yard. He has never spit , which is a huge plus. and he is just funny to play with. One of the other things i have heard Llamas used for is caddying on golf courses, they are a pack animal by nature and don;t punch up soft ground so they are perfect for around greens . . . might have to worry about them wanting to dust them selves in the sand traps but that is a minor worry.
