| Sometimes when the center bearing gets bad, you can lay a 4X4 across the bin lid opening and use a come-along to lift the center vertical auger up just a bit, this takes the pressure off the center bearing and allows it to start turning. (sometimes) I think if you pull too far it will disengage the shaft from the gearbox, so just lift a bit to take the weight off the bearing. Then you may be able to empty the bin using the sweep auger and replace the bearing. My dealer told me this last week. | |
