Yeah, I've seen that before, but hydraulics can slow down as the bale gets full and then there is balling problems. I have some friends that use twin rakes that pull balers run on hydraulics, and they don't like them. I liked the idea of a shaft and basically just running it the same. In thin hay, You can just unhook the baler from the rake and rake before you bale, so you can weave as needed without having to take a hydraulic system off the baler.
