I have a Brother 7820N which has been a very good printer. It's a laser with only a black cartridge. Cartridge is under $40 and last a long time. This one doesn't have a card reader, but the one that I had prior to it did. It used inkjet cartridges instead of laser. Got tired of buying expensive ink when black was all I was using. Found the 7820N refurb on sale at Staples for $100 and have been very happy with it.
Need 'All-in-one' Printer recommendations...
