Cell phone should be cheaper ($25-$50/mo) than satellite ($50-$100/mo), and may be just "as good".

Satellite may have an edge if you are going to have multiple simultaneous users, as I believe the bandwidth is easier to share than cell phone, and easier period to have the internet connect via a router on the satellite connection.

Satellite will like perform equally well anywhere, and cell phone will be dependent on signal.

If you have a laptop, you can carry that cell phone internet wherever you go, but you can't carry the satellite dish.

Again, don't let either one tie you to an expensive long term or even intermediate length contract until you know it will work satisfactorily in your location.
