Iowa says there are 250 pounds of bluegills per acre of pond surface. That's regardless of the size of the fish, so the fewer the fish the faster they'll grow. That one doesn't look thin, but not chubby looking, do you catch a ton of small ones of various sizes? or are they mostly that size indicating they're the same age? did you overstock the pond, or have exceptional survival maybe?
