Look at how much isolation seed companies require around seed fields. It's way more than 24-48 rows.
Planted a plot of Liberty corn before it was approved for export. All corn within 1100 feet had to be fed to livestock due to possibility of pollen drift, and the seed company sent 2 guys out to clean my combine after i harvested it into a dedicated bin. They also had someone there to verify the planter was empty and take the leftover seed woth them. Seed company gave 2 neighbors beans and also wrote them a check to plant beans on beans to get the isolation required.
