South Central MN | Would think that if pollen was the problem you would have similar issues with residue bits plugging with full tillage and no-till also, unless it is more sticky.
I've seen plenty of leaf bits and corn stalk innards on vac meter vents but mine wasn't center fill. Stayed working but had to have been cutting off some flow.
Might be why when I changed the JD vac meters to Eset they gave me a screen like cover that goes over the top of the meter. Worst is the couple rows by the vac fan exhaust and near wheels. | |
