So the people from that business saw your thread and retaliated because of the reviews or just complete chance some scammers picked your thread?
Over on HeavyEquipmentForums, I started a similar thread asking for any info on that company. Just as I suspected, a few guys over there drilled down and found all the telltale signs. I actually gave the bastards my phone number when I tried calling a Craigslist ad I found with the exact same pictures, and they company's name in it. After I put that link up, about 5 minutes later, another member put up like a dozen identical links, from all over the country.
8 minutes later, I got the first text demanding I remove "forum posts".
And it's been downhill ever since. Obviously, the letter changing only worked short-term, as I figured it might, since the thread would still pop in a search because I can only change my posts. |
