Rain belt | Yea we have a 7165 and or old 5165 as a backup. I was never the biggest fan of all the bevel gears on the unload because those were 90% problems I had with the machine. We had two 5165s over the years and only recall one bearing going out between the both in 10 years.
The 7165 (self contained) has given me problems from poor manufacturing more than anything else. Once those problems got corrected it’s been a great machine. I only have two gripes with the hydraulic system on it. And I thought I would have more. 1. It unloads slower than the old machine even though it has a bigger auger. 2. When it’s cold hydraulics take forever to warm up and be useful. If too much time is spent between loading and unloading when it’s really cold out the system gets cold and becomes painful to unload until it warms up again.
I’ve come to really love the remote with it though. | |
