NW MN | State laws vary of course but car dealerships are highly protected by state laws that limit what manufacturers can enforce on the dealerships.
2008 and the auto manufacturers bankruptcies and buying out dealerships then was one example and another is the fight Tesla has for selling direct from the manufacturer. In most states Tesla doesn’t have dealerships or stores it just has service centers that might have a showroom and test drives is my understanding. | |
