I agree. There are some situations where having one implement switch work with two different systems is OK. In general that is a bit dangerous so the best solution is to do what the reply above suggests.

That is use a 12V relay or two which are controlled by the implement switch. Then one system can be triggered by the output of one relay. The other system can be triggered by the output of the other relay. That way there is no physical connection between the two systems which is much safer.

It may not be necessary to have a relay for each system but they are cheap enough that it is a safe approach.

On my own planter I use two implement switches with one on each wing. They are wired in parallel so if one, the other or both are down, the connection is complete. This prevents the rather rare instance where the row with the switch on it drops into a large hole and shuts off my planter.
