North Central MN | It's a major problem here. Endura is effective. It's priced differently in different states. Buy mine out of state and have it shipped. Timing is everything with that product. I've found the plant health products can make white mold worse. Hire out the endura application now. I make a VR "blend" rec on SMS based on previous yield history and have them VR the endura application if I have a crop coming that makes me nervous. Most years white mold here is in pockets and I just hate dropping $30/acre when only half or less of the field needs it. A drone would be great for this application.
Greenleaf (syngenta) has the best products in my geography. Transitioning to no-till but haven't had a bad white mold year in a few. I don't know if it's still made but a product called marvel with MSO is significantly hotter than cobra. Turned a field to sticks a couple years ago when it was only RR2 varieties, no white mold. | |
