NWMO | I think there will be 1-2 million acres more of wheat due to cheap input cost, uneducated opinion, but just a feeling that even with $5.50-$6 wheat it’ll get some guys on the fringe who would otherwise plant corn but are scared away due to lower price, higher input, higher interest and unknown weather.
To some, it seems that wheat is a safer bet than corn in non traditional corn growing areas | |
