East Central Illinois | We tried it last year on split planters and did not enough difference to make us want to try much again this year, especially with crop prices. Might try some again some time, but not that excited about it. We used to run starter in furrow, same thing, could never see a difference if we ran out of starter in a field. Switched to 32 put out behind the planter, 2 inches off center. So hopper throttle was applied without starter, still couldn’t see anything conclusive
