These are 2x12 spanning 24ft. Been up 8 years, still standing. Have another one built the exact same that I stack bales in, was built in the 80’s. I do wish I would have went every 4ft though so I could’ve laid the 2x4s down to keep birds out
You're in quite I might call lower snow load country than the OP - - - doubt you've ever seen a few feet of snow on those roofs - - - things are a little different then - - - especially if you get a wet snow or three in the mix!
(You would likely get more wet snows than here but rarely the quantities.) |
