Subject: What elements does Gypsum correct?

South Central Illinois

I am very familiar with Gypsum being used to alleviate some sodium issues.
I am also very familiar with Gypsum being used to alleviate aluminum toxicity.
Are there other elements that are mitigated with Gypsum?
When looking at the Gypsum VRT recommendation maps.
There is no obvious 1-1 correlation between sodium base saturation and Gypsum recommendations.
This makes me think, that there are other factors that come into play, on the recommendations.
Curious, what out the factors to get analyzed, to produce these recommendations?
