According to some reports it was very windy at the time and that ship with those containers would act as a big sail. I don't think it was intentional and we shouldn't jump to some nefarious conclusion. That being said its gonna be a potential black swan if you need to buy a car, get coal shipped to you and a myriad of other things. It was also the major grain exporting terminal from the north east to Europe I believe. It was the largest importing port of cars in the US. That will make car prices go up. All depends on how long it takes for the bridge to be cleared and cargo ships can enter the port.
