| Planning on seeding a grazing mix after wheat as I’m too far north and usually too arid in northern Nebraska to double crop. Mix will have some sorghum, peas, turnips, buckwheat, and maybe another legume. What are some good options if I start seeing some weeds? I’ve scouted thoroughly and have seen no winter annuals. Field has a history of green foxtail and waterhemp in the corn and soybeans I’m accustomed to growing. Plan A is for the wheat to choke all that stuff out. Just wanted a backup plan if I start seeing stuff earlier than I expect. | |
