If you have an old harrow laying around. You could broadcast then harrow.

Drill will work well too with a couple passes, diamond unless you have RTK and can split really close tolerance. (I know highly unlikely in 3 acres)

But I think getting done now is more important than perfect. I add annual rye grass to most yard seeding as it is fastest germinating seed I know of. Blue grass takes over with mowing. I don’t like tall fescue in a yard btw. Fine fescue yes, tall looks like crabgrass!
