That was a running software change on those models. If your software ops manuals are for old software, this won't be mentioned in them.
The original setup on those machines used the "resume" button to engage/disengage autosteer in addition to control the raise/lower function of the header. Caused all sorts of operational problems. They ended up splitting up the 2 functions to work much better.
