Faunsdale, AL | We I think we have a 4450 that had the second outlet or whatever on the top tank of the radiator. It’s been plugged off a long time now so I’ve probably forgotten all that was involved. Also have a 4440 so I could be mistaken which it was. I know we ended up replacing the fan clutch when it was working hard one year and wouldn’t stay cool.
That tractor wound up with a cracked injector bore. Could have had it sleeved but opted for a new/reman loaded head instead. Guess they can crack or blow a gasket without any real obvious cause.
I agree, time to get head off and checked, surfaced etc if it doesn’t show anything I would carefully check deck surface is level etc before reassembly.
