. So questions and concerns I have about CRP programs:

How much will they help out on reforestation costs?
They have what is called Cost Share,  but the amount varies on each project.

Any concerns with buffers or other headaches that should be aware of?
There are rules to follow.

Does the government have a say what can or can’t be done on the land for personal usage I.e. hunting, fishing, etc?
They have rules on mowing and such, but not hunting and fishing I don't think.

How hard is it to get out of a program provided some reason it needs to be taken out?
You would owe money back.

Any other issues or thought we need to be aware of?
The pond, CRP,  and Buffers are all different programs. Your best bet is to go to your FSA office and talk with them.
