So banks quote interest rates yearly. Have it be for a loan or cd. Yet today is leap year. 366 days vs 365. Do we get charged or paid for an extra day of interest this year? Had conversation with banker this morning and asked this as a side question. Response was they use 360 days as year. Just curious is this the normal of the banking industry?
