Any farmer that sold last years crop early and aggressively is sitting with $200.- $300. more income per acre than those that sold very little.
Just thinking that they may be the guys bidding the high price at land for rent auctions. They may be securing/acquiring some very productive land. They have a lot of extra dollars to throw around. These same farmers may also have forward sold this years crop at the same time and are also looking at a profit with decent yields even this year. Maybe even next year as well.



Thanks for making us all aware of how much better it is to sell at the highest prices vs. selling at low prices. In next weeks lesson we will discuss the advantages of buying inputs when they are the cheapest.

But yeah, in a game of luck there will always be winners and losers!
