The maintenance contract seems annoying, but the help desk is really good. AND, if you don’t pay maintenance, your liscense will expire in a couple years. Last I checked, reinstatement was about the same price as paying maintenance along the way. Hope this helps.
You don't HAVE to pay the maintenance. It will continue to work on your computer as long as your computer is healthy. But you will not be able to install the updates that come out twice a year usually. Or get support |
