There is no comparison between the 50 series transmission and the 66/86 series transmission. If you can shift a 4440, you can sure shift a 50 series. Fully syncronized with the power shift as stated above.
The post below talked about noisy cabs, but I sure can't complain on mine. It's as quiet as anything else from that era.
