| msb, I suspect banning on this site may be based on user logon name. One could get into IP banning, but then unless one is careful, you could end up banning a whole range of users due to IP addresses possible showing up as an address for an ISP router. The only way to tell for sure would be to look at any server logs to see if a previously banned users IP matches a different logon name.
Even then, it would take some digging to be sure. | |
