M		But it creates a couple of problems. I don't know...maybe North American cars are set up differently, but I find if my lights are on, that automatically dims some dash displays to the point that in daylight it is impossible to read the time, or some other displays.

On old cars the dash lights didn’t come on until the head lights were on which was a good reminder that lights weren’t on
