Wouldn’t that be an open invitation for a bug invasion with that open vent?? One of our bathroom vents goes out the side of the house with a dryer vent gizmo on it, but a bird pulled one of the flaps out and started building a nest in the pipe. Had to buy a different style vent outlet that has a cover over the top of it to prevent this from happening again.
