| For new equipment the Farm Progress Show that alternates between Boone IA and eastern Illinois is filled with new equipment and has a collection of antique farm equipment too.
Half Century of Progress show in eastern Illinois every other year has a huge collection of vintage equipment, as do shows like the threshing show at Mount Pleasant, IA labor day weekend, though I prefer other shows like the one just west of Charles City that weekend. Not as much equipment but I have found it more friendly to me. Early August tjere os tje ,Midwest Power Show west of Marshalltown, Iowa. A couple weeks later there is a fine show at Albert City, IA and one at LaSeuer MN and a huge show at Rollag MN Labor Day weekend.
There can be 1000 tractors (steam, gas, LP, and diesel) at Mt. Pleasant.
