Sheep killers here. When they are lambing out in grass seed fields the eagles have learned to grab the newborn lambs and puncture the lungs, let the lamb slowly suffocate while the momma tries to defend it. Almost makes you like sheep. Can't even look sideways at the eagles. Not uncommon to see two dozen, maybe up to 50 around a big mob of sheep.
