Subject: RE: First piece of machinery you ever bought

Pilot Grove, Missouri
JD 750 drill. Asked the neighbor a question about it and he said it was coming out in the trader paper in a couple days. At the price he shot me, I went and looked at it right away and told him I would take it. Has been a very good buy for me, even though I have probably spent more for parts since then than the purchase price. Second was my 4455. Went to the auction, really just to see what it brought. When the bidding started, it was really cheap I thought and a Jockey had the bid. Was cheap enough I couldn't let it go and ended up buying it. it has been a great tractor, only thing it has needed in in 10 years has been regular maintenance, a couple hoses and an AC compressor.
