North Dakota | I have always viewed the lotteries as a tax on those with very poor math skills.
Both of our kids played the lottery 10 or so years ago. What I convinced them to do was put $1 in an envelope for every dollar they spent on tickets. After a year see which one made more money. Both had way more in the savings envelope than the winnings envelope.
Now having said all that I will buy one every once in a while, might buy one for this one. Like the man said if you don't buy one your chances are zero, if you do buy one it's just a tiny bit better than zero. | |
