SW Wisconsin | I'm in North Crawford County, but on the ridge. My driveway is a little washed, and cow lanes are a tad muddy, but nothing serious for me. I need it to dry out so I can plant some pasture and lay some gravel down on the cow lanes, and I've got corn silage to chop at some point, but nothing is washed away. Pasture does an impressive job of holding the soil.
I really feel for the guys with bottom ground. I was in Gays Mills for the fair last weekend and my brother and I were joking about how some of the guys down there would have to get combines this year. There were some really nice looking beans down by the river. | |
