not that hard-you need about 100 foot of big hose and a simple pipe on the end-usually the syrup is hot so maybe leather or welder gloves-and extra guy to drag hose around-we have very little animal problem after syrup and then tarp few days later-kind of stinky takin tarp off 1-2 years later. They usually just use a 9hp Honda pump
