Read up on arthritis- didn't realize there were so many causes. None seemed to fit my situation.

As far as being inbred............. well........... it could be happening. I rotate rams out every year or two(if I really like them)- but these things are related to rabbits. They are breeding as young as three months old. I try to get them weaned and out early but I know that there are ram lambs chasing ewes and ewe lambs around all the time . And I know those little buggers are viable because I can't wean males and females together for even a few weeks- or most of my ewe lambs are bred and lambing at 8 months old.
