| If you mix in lime, you raise the pH. Ammonia volatilization follows very closely with increased pH. The Murphy guys in NC used to put it in lagoons to blast nitrogen up in the air because they didn't have the land to put it on from a regulatory standpoint. Guys in the Midwest want to keep the nitrogen. There are some better ways to deal with it.
