WY, OK | Had one mean SOB that worked for us in the 60's that did a mile of RR ties up a very steep hill. Must have got a deal on the ties as it made no sense, also was only a 3 wire fence but never saw a cow or calf go through it. Funny part is the whole hill is gravel, one guy with T posts and a hand pounder could have done the whole mile in an afternoon.
I've seen "professional" builders wrap wire like that second set of pics, also seen them run the wire around the brace post once, stapling every 1" then continue on to make the gate with the same wire. | |
