Another thought, thought about leasing the grazing rights to your CC and stalks? Might allow a neighbor to expand a bit to stock his pastures heavier in the spring/early summer, then pull cows off to put on CC when it turns drier in later summer. You get the benefits you're looking for plus a check with none of the hassles.
