I’ve looked at those group nesting boxes. They are nice. At some point I’d like to upgrade to them.
We bed our nesting boxes with wood shavings and mainly rinse our eggs to get the sawdust off and ensure clean eggs but that does wash the natural protective coating off (the bloom?). Then into the fridge. In the US we wash and refrigerate eggs. Other countries do neither.
