red river valley | I was about 20 at the time also. Just had gotten my pilots license. Dad would send me in a rented cessna west a couple hundred miles after market closed.The elevator manager out west would meet us at the airport, sign and stamp our certs and we would fly back home to redeem the certs at our county's fsa office in the morning. I don't remember the specifics but it must have been a play on the spread on the posted prices of the two counties. Made a couple of trips doing this. |
