EC SoDak | My personal opinion is the crop is racing ahead quickly and if that continues, that should shave some bushels off the top end. The data proves that in most cases, quite a bit of extra heat, moisture or not, likely leads to lower than trend yields. However, there is a chance that we have a cooldown the end of July and possibly August according to some meteorologists. If that happens, we could pack on the extra pounds like the last 4 years and have good yields.
Hedge your bets and roll with them.
