A side win would be: Getting Americans to realize your statement, "........rather than pay twice as much for made in the USA products" is simply not true. Most items at Walmart are only pennies cheaper if it is manufactured oversees.
I can tell you for a fact, a vehicle owner could have an engine oil filter (or air filter or fuel filter or pcv valve or windshield wipers) installed on his car at a quick lube or dealership that was "MADE IN THE USA" for about $0.25 more than a filter coming from China. Which do you think he would buy if given the facts. | |
