| Gotta be one of the most frustrating years in my farming career.
Wet early , crops got planted late, nice stands, now we're litterly burning up, really with not much rain in sight. Afraid lost a bunch of 28% in the air. Cut some soft red today , yields off 20%
Corn is white! Previous mistakes are showing up rapidly.
Got some real nice forward contracts I may not be able to fill.
We'll fine, insurance will cover, its just in my blood to raise a nice crop.
Nothing more demoralizing than cutting 20 bu beans and 50 bu corn.
We have time , however not much for the corn.
And then the boots on the neck of the market.
Oh well I love Jesus , my wife, my kids, life is good!
